It’s nearly the end of January, where has this month gone. It’s meant to be summer but the country has been hit by severe cold and wet weather.

The wet weather has been good for the garden (our paddock) everything is growing like mad. We cannot keep up with the weeds but our hedges and trees are doing splendid.
We still have green grass something unusual in our normally hot dry summers.

February brings quite a few visitors to our door. They are coming from all over New Zealand, Australia and the UK. Should be fun but also tiring.
